Islamabad, which is a beautiful city and capital of Pakistan with estimated population of 524,500 geographically located at North East of its sister city Rawalpindi. Islamabad was divided into eight zones: the diplomatic enclave, the commercial district, the educational sector, the industrial area and so on, each with its own shopping area and park. Islamabad is also home to the Faisal Mosque which is well known for its architecture and immense size. The mosque was gifted by King Faisal of Saudi Arabia.
Being an area of natural beauty, Islamabad is the best place to stay. Due to its natural geography, it offers a wide range of travelling options.
The world's largest Shah Faisal Mosque, Damn e Koh (a lovely countryside), Shakar Parrian, Fatima Jinah Park, Rawal Lake, Simly Dam Lake and Shahdra valley etc are among the most visited places in Islamabad.
International Islamic University, Quaid e Azam University and Allama Iqbal Open University are the world renowned institutions spreading a wide range of quality courses for Pakistani and foreign students.
Islamabad provides the access throughout the Northern Areas of Pakistan, North West Frontier Province and Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Daily flights and road transport can let every visitor to depart for these areas with extreme ease.
Taxila monuments, Wah Mughalia Gardens, Lui Bher Safari Park, Murree Hills, Salt Range (world's largest salt mines) and Abbottabad can be visited in a whole day or less depending upon the destination.
